New Sport Chevrolet Camaro Dragster gets 1400hp snarl

The old saying is, "If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself." Well, Canadian Serge Leger obviously lives by that motto because his tuning firm recently spent $320,000 to get his Camaro up to par with his mindset. Featuring some serious engine modifications and extensive body work, this purpose-built dragster is now capable of burning 1400hp and 900

lb.-ft. of torque. That is some serious power for a serious car.

The tuned up Camaro dragster is now fitted with GM’s 6.0L LSX V8 mated to a TCI custom built 4l80e Transmission and stall torque converter. We would go through the full list of additions made under the hood, but that would take up our entire evening.

Looking at the Camaro, one word comes to mind: SICK. On the exterior, the Chevrolet Camaro dragster gets custom side skirts, a channeled rocker and floor to accommodate the side exhaust, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a STRUT Carbon fiber Camaro front grill, and a Custom PPG Nexa water based black cherry paint. Seriously, can it get much better?

The interior looks luscious with custom hand-stitched imported Italian leather and carbon fiber accessories. Music can be played through the Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT with flagship in-dash navigation, AV receiver with DVD playback, and built-in Bluetooth.

But enough with the details. What really matters is that this baby puts out 1400hp. That should be enough for any speed-seeker.
